The first cycle of the Singapore Environmental Reporting Awards (SERA) ended on 14 March 2003 with the awards presentation ceremony. Over 100 members of the business community attended the ceremony held at the Grand Gallery of the Ritz Carlton Millennia hotel in Singapore.

Dr Balaji Sadasivan, Minister of State for Health & the Environment presented Singapore Airlines Ltd with the award for Best Environmental Report. The other entrants to the SERA 2002 were ST Engineering Pte Ltd and Chartered Semiconductors Manufacturing Ltd.
