Rabobank Group best European sustainability reporter

DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, in association with the European Sustainability Reporting Awards, organized on 4 April a conference in Brussels to examine recent trends in sustainability reporting. During the conference the winner of the 2005 ESRA Award for the Best CSR Report in Europe was announced: Rabobank Group from The Netherlands.

ESRA (European Sustainability Reporting Awards) was founded in 1996 by national accountancy bodies with the aim to stimulate excellence in non-financial reporting. Award schemes for sustainability reporting exist in several European countries. Winning reports from national Award schemes participate to the ESRA, which is open to all types of organization, irrespective of size (large or small) and sector (private or public).
